The name derived from luxury, burger yang geli dimakan. And it's also been invented in Luxembourg, so that's why the name is luxemburgerli. Haha, kidding!! I mean first part tu yang kidding. Second part is true. I was so ecstatic to see the Sprungli in Zurich when our tram stops exactly in front of the confectionery in Paradeplatz.
Sprungli confectionery is very popular in Zurich, it's like Laduree in Paris. Luxemburgerli is actually like a small macaron. But for me it tastes nicer because of the variety of the flavours and center cream filling. Also it is selling by grams according to the size of boxes.

I bought 2 boxes of luxemburgerli and thinking to bring some to Geneva. But sadly, I left it on the table in the hotel in Zurich. I was sooooooooo sad and didn't enjoy the scenery inside the train from Zurich to Geneva just thinking about it. But bila dah takde rezeki, nak buat macam mana kan? =(
