I'm Cheating Again

This entry is more like a confession. Last weekends, we went to Dubai to see the Xmas decorations. We walked around the mall then mulalah perut bergendang. While we were thinking what to eat, Aiden gave his suggestion to eat "eskreng". We found Pinkberry, and had our Froyo with Berries. (Atkins said having froyo in moderation is ok)


Then during dinner I was kempunan to eat the TomYum at this Thai restaurant. I feels like it's ok just eating the rice noodles and glass noodles, lagipun I walked a lot in the malls so I've burned a lot of calories actually. (Supposed it's a no-no!)

Then the next day we went to Dubai Mall. In Dubai Mall, I passed through Dean & Deluca (BIG MISTAKE!) and Aiden was saying, "mama....am hungry, I wang ka keks". So I bought 2 cuppies.


Then since Dean & Deluca is near to Laduree, I terus beli 15 keping macarons. (TERRIBLE MISTAKE!) Dah alang2 dgn cuppies, macarons, terus pergi Magnolia beli Red Velvet cuppies and Lemon Meringue Cuppies. Memang takde kira diet langsung. But I was like I don't care, it's not like everyday I was able to eat the Magnolia cakes & Laduree. Once dah depan mata orang cakap itulah dinamakan rezeki, so janganla tolak....kan, kan, kan? =P

But bila dah kenyang makan tu adala sedikit sesal how hard for me to tahan nafsu. At that point of time I really respect some of the skinny people who could maintain their body by not eating sweets and stuffs. How they can manage to resist all those temptations? But for me, life is too short to deprive from the foods you really love. While it doesn’t give you the license to binge on cake all day, it’s important to indulge from time to time and enjoy favorite foods in moderation. Tapi sekali makan 2 cuppies sehari ok ke? hehehe

WOHOOOOO Bar

The best part it's only 2 / 3 net carbs!
It makes my diet been soooooo easy!
And even u can eat this in you induction part.

Since ada a few were emailing me asking about this,
Well, here I nak cerita about my Atkins diet
I've tried a few things nak turun berat badan...
But the thing is, it's not permanent. 
So, this time, I want to try to do Atkins for life!
Actually it would be better if you buy the Atkins book and understand it fully.

Controlling Your Carbs Is The Healthy Way To Eat - for Life

When you do Atkins, you get to eat all kinds of delicious, health foods and you never need to go hungry. If your goal to slim down, you weight will go down - stedily, easily and for good. 

Doing Atkins simply means controlling the amount carbohydrates you eat. Much depends upon your metabolism, gender, age and activity level. Seriously melelehhhhhhh!!!
Oh God, please help me
What should I do now?

Then I programme this in my head:
Saya mahu kurus,
Saya tidak mahu kena diebetic masa muda2 ni
Saya mahu kurus dulu and lepas my weight goal,
Then lepas tu saya mahu indulge sepuas-puasnya!
Barulah rasa rewarding kan? =)

Steviana

It's been about 10 days now since I started my low-carb regime
I've lost 3 kg!
I am feeling more energetic too.
I didn't crave for nasi or mee,
But someone who is having a sweet tooth like me, I crave for a cake!

So I explored Atkins recipe and I found out I can make and eat cheesecake!
But I must use a sugar substitue
At first I thought of using Aspartame,
Then I found this new sugar substitute which is from Stevia plant!


My FIL haritu pernah cerita about this
So kebetulan I terjumpa Steviana sugar substitute dekat groceries,
Terus I SMS my FIL, and he said price kat M'sia is almost twice more expensive
Then...I terus angkut semua dekat shelves tu sampai licin!
The reason why takut susah nak cari kat tempat lain
Or maybe kat tempat lain price dia mahal

So lepas ni, we can have a cheesecake for dessert...YAY!

In case u are wondering:
Atkins diet is a low-carb diet
1st phase ni mmg tak boleh makan langsung carbs or sugar
I only can take vegetables and need to minimize up to 20 net grams carbs per day
and also can eat daging, ayam, ikan, prawns, etc
As long as takde Carbs.

FAT Is My New Friend

My apologies for not responding to your comments in time,
But janganlah blame saya. =( huhuhu
Seriously, I am not a good example, eventhough I think if u were in my shoes you would do the same
But I really appreciate to all my bag-aholic friends comments
Also knowing that they are ikhlas rather than obnoxious or pandang serong
Saya hanyalah manusia yg lemah..sungguh lemah

Back to the title,
For the past 3 days, I am very weak.
Let's BLAME to 
I've started to follow this Atkins diet with Hubby
So NO Carbs and Sugar
FAT is my new friend
 
We are still in induction stage
Last night my muscles are all fatigue, pening2...huhuhu
That's the effect lah...and now still bertahan
Hopefully in 2 weeks saya still dapat bertahan untuk berpantang....uwaaaaaaaa..huhuhu
