"Let the Right One In" Remake

Vampire Film

With the ongoing vampire craze in print and Hollywood, Cloverfield director Matt Reeves has signed on to make a remake of the Swedish cult horror film, "Let the Right One In," which is now called "Let Me In."

If you haven't ever seen it, it's the story of a young and lonely boy who is 12-years-old, befriended by a nice girl who had just moved in next door, and is a vampire.

The actual book was much more edgy than even the Swedish film version, which was considered "Let the Right One In" - light. So while fans of the film are opposed to a remake, it does make me wonder what the difference is when the story isn't really close to the book, and the Swedish film seen be very few people.

After all, you don't have to watch the remake if you don't want to.
