What's the point of using Lotus Notes at all?
Any SMART company could be encrypting all their secure e-mail with PGP encryption.
I suppose these IT administrators feel better knowing they can read the content
of all your e-mails which makes their jobs more secure.

If you are commenting on what you do, then its people like you that make the studios demand limits on legitimate customers like me.
Imagine buying a car but the manufacturer keeping the wheels when you are not using it. Its stops car theft, but its a pain in the ass for the user.

How many discrete channels do you want to record at once?
I think GarageBand's "limit" is 8 channels simultaneously, though I haven't used it in a while and the most recent versions of GB may be able to do more.
What kind of outputs does the Yamaha mixer have?

In an article about Pegatron's net losses for the first quarter of DigiTimes reveals (http://www.digitimes.com/news/a20110427PD217.html) that the iPhone 4 manufacturer is said to be lowering their production of CDMA (Verizon-compatible) iPhone 4s in 2011 from the originally expected 10 million units down to only 5 million units. Meanwhile, Pegatron originally expected to ship 10 million CDMA iPhone 4s in but sources from upstream component makers pointed out that Apple's orders already saw a significant reduction and the volume is estimated to drop to only five million units.CDMA refers to the radio technology used by Verizon for their mobile phones. The CDMA iPhone (aka Verizon iPhone) was launched in February of this year and saw 2.2 million activations (http://www.macrumors.com/2011/04/21/verizon-activates-2-2-million-iphones-in-q1-2011) in the partial first quarter of its launch. for me Verizon is alright. i hope Cingular is not the only carrier, then is DOA for me as well. What good it makes a cool phone with crappy service and coverage.:eek:

This is my first time witnessing a live Macworld. I made the switch early last year and have become more addicted since. I was hoping for an update to the Mac Pro. A price drop, Cores maybe. Some More Juiciness about Leopard. I think the iPhone is really cool! I'm not that interested tho. I'm happy for everyone that has been dreaming of one.
I found the announcement of the name change to be scary. Obviously this keynote is a good example of how they are dropping the "computer" focus on the company. Which is kinda cool in a way but scary too. Just when I start getting into this whole thing they switch focus? I hope this isn't as bad as I think it could be.
I'm voted on disappointed but I am not totally bummed. I still think it was a great keynote. And I still think Steve and Apple are "Wicked cool". I can't wait to see the video.:cool:

Here are my reasons, so all you invective commenters can hold your horses. In my case, say you were waiting for an iPhone 5, and the rumors are (from numerous credible sources) that it's going to be delayed until Fall. Ok, big deal, it's just a few more months. But then, say that the rumors also say that it's just going to be an iPhone 3GS type of an update, same form factor, etc. No 4G, no bigger screen, blah blah blah. For me, I want the next "major" upgrade, with the most important feature being 4G. Why would anyone choose to wait to get locked into a contract with such a phone? Why not just get the iP4 now, and have your contract up when the iP6 comes out? Now, in addition, at the time all these rumors come out, you see a lot of evidence that the white iP4 is coming out in less than two weeks. You like the color white, so voila, it makes sense.

You don't pay for updates, Tweetie 1 had 7 free updates. Updates within the 2.0 version number will also be free. Same as EVERY piece of software for the desktop.
exactly - people don't realize this yet with iphone apps because it's still relatively new and most apps get minor updates for free - very few have done a complete version revision of their software. probably over the next year, this will become more common and people will figure this out and quite whining.
but then again...people love to complain...but over $3 - seriously come on people...

One of the tings I saw last year was that they are going to make their new cars feel more like what Americans are used to driving.
Go test drive a Camry/Malibu/Accord to find out what that feels like. :o
And that is a shame - since one of the few joys I had with my POC '99 New Beetle was how fun it was to drive. So much for fahrvergn�gen - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fahrvergn�gen
I have to admit I always thought the Fahrvergn�gen thing was a bit silly, but it did position the VWs as "different", something the new Jetta and Passat are emphatically not. They are intentionally more the same.

You are missing it arn't you. When people do a graph to compare smart phone OSs they do not take the graph and account tablets, MP3 players or tvs they only count the items that are sold as phones.
I often do see apple users making comparisons to android such as "Androids have worst battery life." which is a broad comparison to it. It is also not true. The Atrix now holds the title as the longest lasting smart phone OS.
Or you have the case where people like you try to tout the Andriod OS as superior but in reality it is a disaster. I use several models of Andriod phones at work, for testing purposes, and each time I pick one up I want to throw it against the wall. I get really irritated with the cumbersome user interface plus the battery life is horrible. I end up having to leave the Andriod phone plugged in to the wall charger if I use for a few hours. We also have iPhones, and Windows 7 phones at work that we use for testing. Which do you think people perfer using at work. Let me give you a hint, it starts with an A but its second letter is not n.
