I have been a contributing for a long time and i will do to do so , there are lot of people still struck in back log , who supported us from the beginning , and more over we are filing 485 ....we still have a long way to go remember..

Please help....I am in a little bit precarious situation here...
I am frustrated working for Company A and I have a job offer from Company B..
My question is if
1: my I140 is approved from company A and
2: have H1b extended for 3 years for company A
3: get the H1b transferred over to Company B and then
leave the Company A and join Company B
Now Company A revokes I140
Will by H1B with Company B still valid?
Right now it would not be wise to make a shift and reapply for LC and stuff with the new comp. Well if getting a GC is not your primary concern then there shouldn't be any problem. Ideally I would wait until atleast august sept to make a decision. thats when we expect the final version of the new bill/law to be clear.

Hello Everyone,
Thank you everyone for the responses.
RBharol, My parents did not overstay last time. Even though they have 10 yr multiple entry and 6-month validity on I-94, they stayed only for 3 months. My concern was that my brother who had sponsored their visa is not living in USA anymore and was questioning the validity of their visa.
I had posted this question on other forums and the general consensus has been that my parent�s visa is still valid and should not be a problem. I am trying to talk to a lawyer and will post the response I get.

Hi everyone,
I have a related question. I am a canadian citizen now and am still maintaining an H1b. My H1b stamp had expired in 2007 though.
I had applied for AP in january but its still pending at NSC.
Now I have to go to India for my brother's marriage.
My question to you all is-Since I am still on H1B (and If am not wrong, canadian citizens do not require H1B stamps)-- will it be ok if I travel without an AP.

I doubt if the above three even know what the whole deal on these 90K visas is. where they come from, what are at stakes, who lost them, why they lost them etc things. I agree with you that we need to call these and let them know that these belong to EB, hence recapture them for EB and request them to allocate special 50K/90K to Schedule A

12 calendar days. My I 140 was originally applied on 01/08/2007 upgraded to premium on 06/26/2007 there was a RFE ability to pay , reponse for RFE received on 07/26/2007. we called 18663155718 today, the IO officer said my case is approved today. online status still says it's pending.
Unfortunately the premium service on I 140 is not reinstated yet. Note I upgraded before (07/01/2007)it was suspended . Sorry for the confusion

I think you need to show visa proof when you go to most of the DMVs.
But one of friend renewd his lic(PA DMV) without showing H1 or EAD. He renewed it online.
When I tried to renew my licence online it prompted me that my citizenship requires me to go to DMV local office personally.
