TruKid ~ All Natural SkinCare for Kids {giveaway}

My children are dirty kids - dirty, dirty kids! Especially in the summer months, they play hard outside and their grimy little faces reflect that. This summer we are prepared with TruKid body care products to entice them into the bathtub at the end of a day of play.

Sometimes convincing children to come in from outdoor play to bathe is an uphill battle. Making bath time fun is half the battle, I find. At the same time, I am continuously more aware to the importance of incorporating more and more natural products into our home. We tried Bubbly Body Wash and we immediately loved it! It has a fruity fresh scent and I love breathing in the kids during snuggle time after they are out of the bath. I either use a pump on our poof and lather the kids up, or as the water runs into the tub, we squeeze a bit to make a fun bubble bath. The bottle is kid-friendly and has a little stick figure on the side of the bottle, so even the kids know which product is for washing their bodies. I really like that TruKid sends a long pump-tops to use if you prefer over press-tops.

Silly Shampoo is my favourite kids shampoo of all time! I don't know if all kids are the same as mine and fight shampoo time, but something tells me that at least some of them are the same. Finding a shampoo that my kids enjoy using is a huge advancement in my home. Again, silly shampoo has a great scent, and a small amount does a good job at getting a nice lather. Just like the body wash, silly shampoo arrived with a pump-top. I love having that alternative!



Here comes the sunshine (finally) and with that warm sunshine comes a long the important need to have a good UVA/UVB sunscreen. TruKid sent me their all natural sunscreen stick to be used on body and face. It is SPF 30 and does a great job of protecting my kids young skin. I love that it comes in a convenient stick, making it non-messy and easy to transport, especially good for dropping into the school backpack, or sending to day camp. I know that the kids can re-apply as needed throughout the day and not end up with a huge mess on their hands. Sunny Days sunscreen glides on easy and has a summery-fresh scent and is water resistant.

TruKid is made in North America and is real value for the price. The Country Mouse kids are happy to have special products just for them. Secretly, mom can smile because she knows that TruKid products are good for us and the world around us!
