The KitchenAid Architect Series of Counter-top Applicances!

As we are now in full swing of wedding season, brides and grooms are making plans and registering at their favourite stores, so their guests can find that perfect gift to give. One thing I have learned, is to spend the money and buy quality items the first time around. In the long run it will actually end up saving (you) money, since high quality items are bound to outlast and outperform less expensive semi-equivalent purchases.

Brides and Grooms would be thrilled to unwrap a gift of a counter-top appliance from the Architect Series from KitchenAid! Our niece is having an envelope family barbeque shower in a couple of weeks, and I think purchasing a KitchenAid counter appliance would be a wonderful way to spend the money they receive.

Who wouldn't love a kitchen full of these beautiful, functional appliances, all available in cocoa silver?

The Architect Series includes a Food Processor, a Stand Blender, a Hand Blender, and the legendary Stand Mixer.

The name KitchenAid has become synonymous with the Stand Mixer, most people simply refer to the stand mixer simply as their KitchenAid!

Combining the latest in technology and style, this will be a dream come true for any newlywed or baking enthusiast.

  • two different units available - both with a powerful 325 watt motor
  • one with two stainless steel bowls (5 qt and 3 qt), another with a 5qt glass bowl
  • 67 point Planetary Mixing Action - meaning the beater spins to 67 different touch points in the bowl - the highest beater-to-bowl coverage on the market
  • multi-purpose attachment hub with a removable cover
  • tilt head allows easy access to your bowl and beater
  • includes a wire whip, dough hook, flat beater and pouring shield
  • flour power rating of 9 cups - which means a yield of 4.5 loaves of bread, 9 dozen cookies, or 7 lbs of mashed potatoes
  • MSRP $549.00

I had the unique experience of testing out a Stand Mixer in my kitchen for the last couple of weeks! And, man! Not, only does it do an amazing job and do the hard work, it also is sleek and sophisticated sitting on my counter. It is more like an accessory to a kitchen, rather then another appliance which clutters your space and never gets used.

Being a first time user of a KitchenAid appliance, (the Stand Mixer) I was immediately impressed with the power of the machine. It is heavy duty and not the kind of appliance which is to be moved about. I love that the Stand Mixer has made my life easier. I've always just used a hand mixer and it now seems silly to pull that little mixer in and out when I needed it. Now that I have the KitchenAid Stand Mixer sitting on the counter, I can just turn it on and walk away to concentrate on something else while the job gets done, to perfection each and every time. I can see that KitchenAid appliances are built to last and know why people love them.

We have enjoyed whipped potatoes, cakes, cookies, waffles, and breads all made quickly and with ease with the Stand Mixer. Now, that I've tried this one out, I want one of my own. The Stand Mixer makes a kitchen complete, and without a doubt a must-have item in ever kitchen! Be sure to keep the name KitchenAid Architect Series in mind for bridal registries this summer!
