Butter Bell Crock by L. Tremain {giveaway}

Growing up we always had butter on our table, we never ever had margarine. My mom kept (and still does keep) her butter in a stainless steel covered dish. She doesn't yet know about what I am about to reveal, but, I think my mom is going to get fired up about it, and I think you will too!

I was introduced to the beautiful Butter Bell Crock through one of my favourite bloggers a short while ago. I was so enticed by it's beauty and the concept of it that I rushed right over to The Butter Bell Store to check them out. When I was looking through the site I found simple, yet pretty butter crocks, that promised to keep your butter fresh for up to
30 days.

Let's first discuss the beauty of these crocks. At the Butter Bell Store I found several design concepts. My favourite was the lime green retro butter bell crock. I loved the bright colour and thought it would be great to have on the table the whole year through, especially in the middle of a bleak winter...just a little splash of colour to brighten our day.

Retro's not your thing? How about antique? Beautifully embossed, available in nine vintage colours, or the Classic Butter Bell. The Classic Butter Bell is decorated with a floral pattern, and has the word butter or beurre on opposite sides. There is still more designs, but I will let you check those out for yourself!

Besides its beauty, the Butter Bell Crock is functional!

In order to keep your butter fresh, place 1/3 cup of water in the bottom of the crock. Replace that water every three days. Spread your softened butter into the bell-shaped cup and press it firmly inside. The water creates a seal around the bell-shaped cup. As a result you will always have fresh, soft butter on your table ready when you are. The Butter Bell Crock does not require refrigeration!

I am so happy with our Butter Bell Crock. It does exactly what it says it will do. Our butter is fresh, and in this recent heat wave (normally when butter in a dish is melted), our butter remained solid inside the Butter Bell Crock. I think these would make great gifts, bridal shower came to mind, but really any occasion, these would be appreciated by the receiver. (Pst! I saw a cute Santa Butter Bell Crock on sale, which I think would be adorable throughout the holidays)

Purchase from their full line available from The Official Butter Bell Store, or check out their store locator for a retail outlet near you.
