Ecological and Unconventional Earth House

Earth House Estate Lättenstrasse is a residential area composed of nine unconventional homes and located in Dietikon, Switzerland. It is a project designed by Peter Vetsch and are based on the interpretation of an environmentally conscious, ecological and progressive architecture. The earth-house concept uses the ground as an insulating blanket that efficiently protects it from rain, low temperatures, wind and natural abrasion. An earth house does not have to be built under the ground, it can be placed onto naturally grown terrain.

Unique Car Living Room

Inspired by their mutual obsession with the classic AC Cobra 427, a pair of Polish designers created this amazing living room collection made of American classic car parts from 60′s.

The pieces in the “Spirit of 427” collection – the sofa, an armchair, a coffee table, office desk, and standing lamp – are all handcrafted from original and collector car parts such as bumpers, fuel inlets, lighthouses, and leather from Bentley and Ferrari factory stencils

The 60s inspired auto furniture is quite the creative touch by Spirit of 427 and will surely be snapped up by interior designers and those looking to infuse their love of cars into their homes. Click here to check the whole collection.

Cocon Chair with a built in Sleeping bag

Cocon is a chair with a built-in sleeping bag. I have not tested it, but I'm personally intrigued by the concept. It looks extra cozy. This would be awesome for when you are lazing around and realize you would really like to have a blanket or a sleeping bag, but don't want to have to get up and pull it out of the closet. Never fret, you're already sitting in it! Zip up and snuggle down for a long-winter's coma.
