Gather Around the Christmas Tree

You know you are a country bumpkin when the Christmas tree at Grandma's house is a drying rack!

Halloween Fun

Moving into the highschool for grade 7 and 8 has taken a young girl and thrown her into a situation where she has heard and seen things that maybe she shouldn't at 12 years old.

But, there is some fun aspects too! The highschool drama students were doing facepainting for the younger kids with a Halloween twist. Emily went for a zoombie.




And, the funny thing is I can remember doing this exact same thing at Halloween time when I was in highschool. We didn't have younger kids though, and just painted each other's faces in drama class.

I think it was nice of the older kids to include the younger ones.

The View Out My Door

Everything is so beautifully green. The grass is growing like crazy and the leaves on the trees are becoming nice and thick.



I wish I could of captured the pink blossoms floating to the ground. In a few short days this tree will no longer be this gorgeous colour and the ground will be littered with petals.

And, I am glad the neighbour doesn't get bothered by me wandering the street with my camera and taking pictures of his tree:)

Sweet Spring!

A rite of spring is a girls first trip to the park for the season.
