Okay, first of all....if I have to change my appointment which was originally scheduled for the end of October and the next available appointment time I was given was January 3, 2011....I don't appreciate the condescending looks that comes along with it for being late coming back for a re-check! Know what I am saying? Especially, since I tried to change my appointment well before that original date. Okay!
Jillian returned for her re-check of her ears and ear tubes yesterday. One tube was just inside the ear canal and he was able to pull it out easily. So, now both tubes are out. The doctor felt that she had quite a bit of fluid in her ears again. He also thought maybe getting the adenoids, and tonsils out, and re-inserting ear tubes would be a good direct to go. He thought we should go for the big three. So, our next step is to have an x-ray and then a re-visit in about a month.
When he pulled out the ear tube which was still in, (but, not where it should of been) he told Jillian that the TUBE FAIRY could come that night. She was beyond excited! I had no idea there was even such a thing as a tube fairy! And, my goodness it the Tube Fairy didn't visit last night! Jillian was so excited this morning!
