The French Embassy in Buenos Aires hosted the presentation of the highly anticipated collection of Levi's signed by the French genius Jean Paul Gaultier. Two gorgeous sailors greeted the guests, while many other sailors, (waiters dressed down as sailors) served exotic baguettes, canapés and spiritual drinks. Before moving to the room where the presentation would take place, we were led through a room set with a colorful shrine honoring Jean Paul, made wit jean cuts, Gaultierish stickers, candles, dolls dressed with Gaultier's iconic stripy shirt and many other references to the universe of the designer born in Arcueil, Val-de-Marne. The parade was divided into three parts because they had room for other surprises during the night. Not only the collection Levi's x Jean Paul Gaultier but also the proposal for Levi's Red Tab spring-summer 2011 and the collection Levi's x House of Holland, the brand created by British designer Henry Holland.
On our way out, we received a Ferrero Rocher and a candle to pray for Saint Gaultier, crazy stuff, isn't it?
